During March 2006 a dedicated prayer week was held at Waringstown Presbyterian Church. This week of activity included a range of teaching about varied aspects of prayer with a prayer concert and a prayer breakfast also taking place.

During that week a prayer room was opened; themed on a monthly basis this room provides an opportunity to draw aside from the busyness and hurry of the world and enjoy a place of quiet contemplation and solitude. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to use this church resource.
