Directions to Waringstown Presbyterian Church
From Banbridge:
If approaching Waringstown from Banbridge direction, you will drive down a hill and passed Waring house on your left. Turn right up the Mill Hill immediately after passing the Planters Tavern (yellow building on your right). The Church is a few hundred yards on the right hand side.
From Lurgan:
Waringstown is c.2 .5 miles from Lurgan on the Banbridge Road. As you enter into the heart of the old village you will pass Café Rigmarole and other local businesses on your right. Turn left up Mill Hill (signposted for Moira). The Church is a few hundred yards on right hand side;
From Moira:
From the Moira Roundabout continue
through Moira village for about 2 miles |
until you come to the townland of Maralin (Magheralin). Take the road signposted for Banbridge/ Donacloney, then a Chip shop and Byrnes Pub are on the left hand side. The road which runs between these two is called Newforge Road. Continue along New Forge Road for a couple of miles until you reach a T junction. Turn right (signposted “Waringstown 1½”). Continue along the road with a few twists and turns and turn left at the next Sign for Waringstown. This is Mill Hill. Towards the bottom of the hill you will see the twin towers of the Church on the left hand side.
